One Scoop of chocolate in a cup. Two Spoons.

We aren't perfect, that is for sure. Where one is a busy body- inherited from a family of people who can't sit still- the other likes to nap. Where one is a dreamer, a visionary, the other is a realist, scared to take big chances. Where one likes order and organization, the other is a hopeless mess: can't find keys, loses important papers and recently didn't even notice that two hundred dollar bills had gone missing. They might or might not have found a new home in the other's purse.

Where one spends money, albeit responsibly, with the philosophy "I can always earn more", the other hoards pennies, nickles, dimes. Where one just wants a single scoop of chocolate in a cup, the other will always get a milkshake...and regret it. Where one is meticulous at work, leaving no detail undone, with a gift for foresight and management, the other likes to hurry through to the end, "good enough" is often the standard.

Put together, you will find a pair, each with the perfect complement. Dreamer and realist. Free spirit and rule follower. At home and out and about. But together, it's the perfect balance of both. And somehow, this divine blending of personalities creates a home that we love to be at. Where our kids scream with laughter during indoor games of baseball. Where every night little hands and feet come home so dirty from playing outside that they need nightly baths- which they might or might not get. But we let them run and play and explore and get dirty just like the old days because our combination believes that dirt is good for the soul. Where little people might get a little saucy, but only once because as a pair, we believe that respect is paramount to success in this world. Where our children can never conquer us because we are united in our cause to raise Godly children.

As a pair, we certainly aren't perfect. We will disagree as any would. The busy body wants to go hiking, the napper wants to, well, nap. The dreamer wants to build skyscrapers and cities and the realist sees singular moments in their narrow minded view. The messy one drops socks on the floor, the neat one...gets mad.

It's a beautiful, wonderful thing to find the one whom your soul loves. We aren't perfect, but we are definitely perfect for each other.
