1. I did NOT try to cut Jacob's hair tonight. That would have been as crazy as taking him to the library.
2. I did NOT make the best ever chicken tortilla soup with white cheddar on top and corn muffins. Tony had thirds. This makes me so happy.
3. I did NOT leave Kaylen to play on the floor at the office for 30 seconds before returning to find a small screw in her mouth. And this years Mother of the Year award goes to...
4. I did NOT speed today. No really, I didn't. Trying to economize the fuel these days.
5. I did NOT go to Target today. Again, I really didn't. I went to TjMaxx. :)
6. I did NOT bother, tease or antagonize the cat today. But I should have. She's worthless.
7. I did NOT attempt to shop in Charming Charlies while both of my kids were with me. It's overwhelming when it's just me, add J & K to the mix and it would be as crazy as taking Jacob to the library. And can I add, that putting Jacob in the stroller and trying to hold Kaylen was way harder than it seemed it would be. But yet, that was still better than having her in the stroller and him running loose. Once again, I left without anything, but a trickle of sweat down my back and blood pressure on the rise.
8. I did NOT give Kaylen a small piece of chocolate cookie. Her daddy did. She wuvs her daddy.
9. I did NOT reschedule my dentist appointment for another month out...for the second time this year. And it's only the beginning of March.
10. I did NOT allow a small angel of a boy to sleep in my bed between the hours of 5am and 7am this morning. That would be as crazy as taking Jacob to the library. Or Charming Charlies. Do you know what small boys do between the hours of 5am and 7am? They lay on your pillow uncomfortably close to your face, they pull your hair, they poke your face with hands you dimly remember forgetting to wash the night before, they sit up lay down sit up lay down sit up lay..., they talk loudly and alot, and they get a stern warning to stay in their own bed after this!
Of course, I would NEVER do ANY of these things.
Ahhh....you make me remember the not-so-good old days!!! Great writing!
