Today, as I read their latest update, I couldn't even scroll down to the bottom of the blog to see the picture of this sweet little girl because it appears her fate is sealed. Despite a transplant and years of chemotherapy and strong medicines, times of remission and healing, comes another relapse that seems to be far more vicious than ever before.
These parents are facing unthinkable decisions, unfathomable pain and doing it all with unwavering faith.
To walk even a single day in the weary, worn, tear-stained shoes of these parents you would have to believe to your core things about God that we know, but don't really know until a time when you are stripped bare with sorrow and grief and have nothing to cling to but an old rugged cross.
You don't just know, you see that God is love.
You don't just know, you feel that God is good.
You don't just know, you experience that God is faithful.
You don't just know, you understand that God is our Father.
You don't just know, you live that God is greater than sickness, know's what He is doing and is doing it all for your good and His glory.
Please join me in praying for this family that God will take what seems like dark days ahead and fill them with joy not sorrow, with hope not hurt, with certainty that God will carry them through whatever His grand plan is for sweet little Piper.

Ephesians 3:16-20
I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.
